About the photographer...

David Hepler has had a love of photography for years. Over the years, he enjoyed taking pictures as a guest at weddings, but never thought about being a professional photographer, much less a wedding photographer.  However, that changed 3 years ago. Friends asked him to photograph their wedding, and after shooting that one and another just a few months later, he knew that he had found something that he really loved to do!
 
David is a bit different than the average photographer in Germany - he is an American living in Munich. He has been especially blessed with opportunities to photograph multi-cultural weddings. The first wedding that he photographed was a British-Belarusian wedding and the second was a German-American wedding.
 
David is not only a part-time photographer, but has also been a full-time computer administrator for 10 years.  Working with computers was originally just a hobby, and it still is. David also enjoys traveling, “Klettersteigen” (mountain climbing), going on cycling tours, and most recently he has taken up snowboarding!
